New Snake Resembles Camel!

Dear Nature,

As if bumble bees weren't deadly enough, mother nature kindly decides to throw a new species of snake at us humans. According to National Geographic, Africa's Naja ahsei (translation: death-eater extraordinaire) is not only the world's newest species of snake but is also the largest spitting cobra. This inhabitant of Kenya, Uganda, and Ethiopia is described as "extremely aggressive" and can grow up to nine feet in length and probably has the girth of a 300-year old tree trunk. Due to its grandour, and blood and tissue samples, this creature is in a group of its own...perhaps in the upper echelons of the snake world.

Cool beans. I love slithering, venomous, chicken head-eating creatures (they like to snack on up to 7 chicken heads at once) of delight. They make my day shine a little brighter, and my life that much more complete.

Ayo Wineology

Dear Sommeliers,

With the busy holiday season one may not have time (read: hands) to hold a little something extra. These heartfelt weeks are chock-a-block full of fun festivities such as: hugging, hand gesturing, gift-giving, shopping, eating, eating more, shoveling snow, driving through snow, baking so that you can eat more, cooking so that you can eat more, watching people bake and cook so you can eat what they make, and perhaps a little snow angel activity thrown in there. What this season is going to lack though is a small yet pivotal action: holding your wine glass.
With the "Wine Glass Holder Necklace" one can chitty chat to their hearts delight, reach for those delicious h'orderves, and perhaps finish knitting that delightful tea cosy for Cousin Mary-Lou without having to worry that you won't get your fill of the good stuff.

Check it out:They are available from Amazon and come in handy dandy sets of two!

Now back to things more pertinent to the rest of my life...
