High Five for Creativity!

Dear Eisel,

With the popularity of PostSecret increasing exponentially, I was curious about other community art projects in motion and decided to do a little digging. Amidst all the googleshit I found these two which are particularly interesting. Take a looksie...

1) The Bubble Project
This project was started by a one Ji Lee, who is attempting to rebel against the corporations by encouraging open dialogue through bubbles. This project was started when Ji printed out several thousand blank thought bubble stickers and placed them around various locations in New York. The public did the rest, and the rest as they say, is history.

2) Invisible Clock
This project involves benches, a park, an author, and some mad digital-something skills. Basically the project is aiming to replace the mundane seats and backs of park benches with different images and text to, "enhance a public sitting space" which is used to, "rest, contemplate, nap and wait - for a friend or for our daydreams." The text on all the benches is an excerpt from a book by Alan Lightman called Einstein's Dreams and is fitting for a park where one tends to get lost in their thoughts and lose track of time.

Have a most fantabulous week twinkies!
